Short profile of the company / qualification of personnel

At present basic directions of research are the information theory and applied mathematics, computer and communication sciences in technique, management, nature, language and living systems. Among the most important topics researched by Institute are the problems of the theory linear analysis of complex systems, image processing, pattern recognition, intelligent geoinformation technologies, error coding correction. There is a stable scientific body of highly trained and young specialists, composed of mathematicians, physicists, biologists, linguists, computer scientists and engineers – a total of 320 collaborators. Now there are 9 members and corresponding members of Russian Academy of Sciences, 205 full professors and doctor of sciences.
